With an accessible aesthetic due to its strong pop-culture undertones, Kenny Scharf opens his latest exhibition, “Barberadise”, later this month. The show features a series re-appropriations of cartoon franchises created by the legendary Hanna Barbera including the contrasting stone-age family, The Flinstones and the futuristic Jetsons “amidst world annihilation”. The opening reception is slated for September 12th; the exhibition will run through on October 31st.
